I believe your Dad is shown standing on a hill east of the Proctor Road and south of the Highland Lake Road just as it leaves Eldred. The house on the left would be Al Randolph’s (proprietor of the Royal Scarlet Store) and the house on the right was later owned by Henry and Gladys Schroeder. The hollow behind the houses would be the path of Halfway Brook.
